P2715Q and 10 bpc, EDID seems to be wrong
Hi,
I've noticed that despite the Dell P2715Q is reported to support 10 bit per channel its EDID seems to be wrong. Checking its EDID (on Windows 10 and also on Linux Arch) I've noticed that the byte at offset 0x14 it's 0xA5 instead of 0xB5 (as I was expecting checking the paragraph 3.6.1 of the EDID specification) .
I was wondering if it's safe to edit by myself and why it's wrong. Any idea?

UP2414Q half screen on right side brighter than left side (Macbook Pro Retina)
Dell UP2414Q on Macbook Retina 15-Inch Late 2013, via Display Port 1.2 / MST
Recently all of the sudden my screen went black when connected via Display Port 1.2 which seemed to be problem due to cable. As I could connect to it via Mini Display Port (but not in 60Hz)
After getting a new cable I can connect again via Display Port in 60Hz (with Display Port 1.2 enabled) but now I have a line in the middle of the screen which was never there before (see below photo):
I assume that could be something related to the MST but I can't fix it. The NVIDIA Cuda drivers are on latest version and I've also reseted NVRAM and SMC on my notebook with no different effect.
I've tried different display port cables all with same results as well.What can I do?

Dell P2314T - dual monitors - second plugged to VGA port has no touchscreen on Windows 10 (but for Windows 8 both works)
Hi. Touschscreen doesn't work for the second Dell P2314T monitor.
When I had Windows 8.1 I had the same problem (second monitor plugged through VGA was not touchable) from the start but after some time I had found solution of such problem: as I now remember configuring Display Properties->Adapter: Intel HD Graphics 3000 (ver 9.17.10.3517 3/20/2014 from default some type of Generic MS VGA driver).
But I can't do the same with Windows 10. Because both monitors detected as Dell P2134T: first as P2134T (HDMI) second was P2134T (VGA).
So for the first monitor touchscreen works, when for the second - doesn't work.
Another details:
1) second PnP CoolTousch System appears as "Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)
2) motherboard: ASUS P8H67M_PRO http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P8H67M_PRO/specifications/ it has HDMI, DVI and VGA adapters, USB 3. I will try to use DVI port when I will get the "HDMI -> DVI adapter" but is it possible to plug monitor only with one cable to USB 3 ?

Dell U2414H black screen at windows start
I made a clean install of Windows 10 and noticed that after restarting PCI see black screen instead of desktop (the BIOS loading and windows 10 loading screen are okay). If I turn monitor off and on, then everything is working, I can see the desktop after another windows restart I have the same issue and have to turn monitor off and on again.
Previously I had windows 7 running with this monitor for more than a year without any problems, so I think that it's related to windows 10 compatibility. Installing windows 10 drivers from DELL's didn't help.

U2414h dual screen setup, one monitor flickers black constantly
I have been struggling with these monitors ever since I bought them. I should've just returned them at first sign of trouble but the Dell support technicians convinced me that there were fixes. Dell even replaced my monitors citing there was a firmware update but I still have issues which makes me unable to use both of my monitors. I have my monitors setup in a Display Port 1.2 daisy chain with my Surface Pro 4 (and dock). When everything is working smoothly (albeit rare) I have my surface display and two U2414h monitors.
Almost constantly, however, the right monitor flickers. Most of the time it flickers to all black and then back. Sometimes it flickers such that there are just some diagonal black bars running through part of the picture. It makes using the right monitor completely unusable. It's really just there for show (and since I have a dual monitor stand it would look kind of funny if I only had one monitor there.
I'm posting here not because I think Dell will fix it, but just out of complete frustration and despair. Dell is permanently damaging their brand every time I look at my computer screens because DELL is making my computing experience annoying and frustrating. It would be like if you bought a brand new car and the steering wheel had sharp spikes on it. Sure, you can still drive, but it is uncomfortable and you will be forever cursing the maker of your car and your stupidity for making the purchase and subsequently listening to the support staff that told you the spikes would go away eventually.
I will never buy anything made by Dell again.

DELL UP2516D Failed to update firmware M3T101 to M3T102
Hello, i have a problem with my new monitor UP2516D, i can not update the firmware version M3T101 to M3T102. I executed instructions of "www.dell.com/support/Article/us/en/04/SLN300986" but the update app dont see my monitor. All drivers is instaled (for PC components and monitor) from off site, all cables are correctly connected and work (mDP-DP, power, USB "i see the usb flash if i connect this to hub in the monitor') The all USB port in PC works, i tried different port, USB 3, USB 2, i reconected the cable of power, the monitor cable USB in a 2nd port from monitor, i turn of and on monitor, etc - it did not help. Why the update failed and what to do ?

U2414H's USB cable doesn't work (the one at left side, not the USB cables with display cables)
I don't know why but the USB cable in the picture doesn't work. I tried all of my USB devices and all of them don't respond. But the other USB cables(with HDMI, DP and etc.) works normally. I owns the monitor for about just one year and my computer is RMBP 2015 with OS X. Does anyone have the same problem like this? Is this a quality problem?

U2515H all preset 75Hz display modes skip frames
The resolutions such as 1280x1024 are specified as 75Hz vertical frequency in the user manual and EDID. Using them results in skipped frames, tested with ufotest frame skip test. The monitor seems to scale all input frequencies to 60hz output frequency which does not sound normal and my old Dell U2212HM monitor definitely does not do that and displays the higher refresh rate correctly.
Is U2515H really intended to work like that? Is there anything that could be done about it? The vertical scan range is also specified as 56-86Hz.
I'm using DP 1.2 with a desktop NVidia card which shouldn't cause problems like that as far as I know. Could the unit be defective?

I need a 4K monitor with a true 10 bit panel (not 8 bit + FRC).
- What is the cheapest Dell 4K monitor with a true 10 bit panel?
- Does UP3216Q have a true 10 bit panel?
- Can I enable 10 bpc mode in Nvidia control panel with UP3216Q and my Nvidia Quadro K1200 graphics card?
- Have anybody ever ran Photoshop in 10 bit mode (with 10 bit OpenGL buffers) with UP3216Q. What graphics card did you use?
- I tested U3415W (it's a 10 bit monitor) with Nvidia Quadro K1200 (via DisplayPort): 10 bpc mode can't be enabled in Nvidia control panel. Do anybody know what the problem can be related to? Nvidia support said that my graphics card supports 10 bit, but the problem is the monitor.

severe flickering/blackout with 12" MacBook Retina
Hello:
I am having severe flickering/blackout issues with P2715Q purchased in Canada using a 2015 12" MacBook Retina running OSX.11.6 with Intel HD Graphics 5300.
The screen either flickers or blacks out every several seconds.
The connection is via the USB-c dongle with HDMI. I've tried a few cables but it seems not to make a difference.
The back of the monitor indicates this is a REV A03 and the S/N includes V7WP9

UP2516D - Auto pivoting/rotation
HI,
In the first week of June I received my UP2516D. For design work (WP theme design and dev) I need to switch to portrait mode. And having to change from landscape to portrait and vice versa in the settings of Windows or the GPU is getting a bit annoying to be honest. It's also awkward getting the mouse pointer to move correctly to the settings.
Whatever I do, I cannot get the displayed image to pivot automatically when I pivot the screen to portrait mode. I also tried this with the OSD set to "Display > Aspect Ratio > Auto Resize" instead of "Wide 16:9".
Also the specs on the sales page don't specifically mention that pivoting is automatic. I just assumed.
When I installed DDM, I did read the following in its info window. But I'm not sure if Auto rotation equals Auto Pivoting. :
