We are using a s2240T Touchscreen monitor with Windows 10 system. The system is to be used as a control screen with buttons. Some of the buttons are made to activate when touched, but go off when released. The buttons work fine with the mouse. The touchscreen does not activate the buttons when the screen it touched, but it activate when you stop touching the screen for a moment. The drivers that came with the monitor were installed, but there does not appear to be any setting that changes the operation of the touchscreen for this.

UP2715K abruptly stopped working (black screen + "entering power save mode" message
Hello,
Yesterday while I was working on my windows 10 machine, my secondary monitor Dell UP2715K powered through Nvidia GTX960 (MSI GTX 960 4GD5 OC) GPU abruptly stopped working (black screen with a message "entering power saving mode").
The monitor was working fine until now in 5k3k mode and was connected to GPU with a pair of DP cables.
After this fault happened, monitor works fine but only when I pull out the second DP link cable. It obviously works now in 4k mode. I tried all 3 DP outputs on my GPU and they all work fine. When I put the secondary DP cable in GPU (one without the blue dot) monitor goes black again.
I would like to hear some suggestions how to test if the monitor is broken or if it is the GPU.
I tried to reset everything, reset factory settings, reinstall GPU drivers, replace DP cables and it does not help.
Also, can someone please tell me if this model of monitor should work if only secondary DP input is connected to GPU? Primary input (with the blue dot) works on any of the three GPU DP outputs but secondary input when connected alone gives message on screen "No DP cable. The display will go into Power Save Mode in 5 minutes". Can someone please test this on your monitor if you have one?
Any hints if this issue might have something with the recent Creators update?

Hi there, is it possible to use the MST feature on the dell U2717D to connect this to the DELL S2817Q?
I have tried this, but it just mirrors the display (only appears as one display to the machine).
The MST option is enabled on the U2717D.
The machine I am using is a 2016 MacBook Pro 15 with Radeon pro 460 GPU.

S2715h Dual Monitor set up Calibration
Hi,
I currently have an XPS 15 running two S2715h all connected using a D3100 docking station.
1 of the monitors is considerably dimmer / brown colour tint to it. All the items are brand new and I have tried to manually adjust but to no avail.
Is there a way this can be resolved.
I returned the monitor and the replacement is the same (I assumed the dimmer monitor to be faulty) not sure what to do, next step is to return the brighter monitor and hopefully get a dimmer one back to match?????
surely this is not the best way to resolve, any help would be much appreciated.

Dell U2414H monitor not detected with displayport
I am trying to use the DisplayPort on a Dell U2414H monitor but I don't get it to work. I read many issues on this forum about using the displayport on this monitor and no solution did work. I noticed the setup was import for each solution so I'll try to describe it as accurate as possible:
- 2 Dell U2414H monitors
- PC with Intel Core i7 7500U and Intel HD Graphics 620
- Ubuntu 16.04
- First monitor connected with HDMI port
- Second monitor connected from DisplayPort (on pc) to mini DisplayPort (on monitor)
I've tried many things like rebooting or unplugging the power cable, but each time I connect the monitor with DisplayPort it goes directly into power save mode. According to Ubuntu the DisplayPort is disconnected.
What should I try to get this working? Thanks in advance!

My dell U2312HM is not able to power on.
I'm unable to access warranty support because there is no service tag number. Have unsuccessfully wasted more than 1 frustrating hour to try to contact dell through email.
Appreciate urgent your help for this. Need to get my monitor fixed so I may use it for work.

U3417W is slightly darker on top of the screen

I need to know if U3417W screens has this issue / defect, so is it normal OR is it something I should replace on my warranty?
My U3417W model has something like gradient from the top: on white color it looks like it goes from grey to white vertically on top on 1cm long.
Could you please confirm it's normal or not?

No VGA Cable error on Dell E2216HV
HI, I have a Dell E2216HV monitor connected to a Dell Vostro 3268 desktop running factory installed ubuntu 16.04 tls. The Desktop works fine when connected to any monitor but the Dell E2216HV which its connected to. The E2216HV monitor shows that there is No VGA input while the VGA cable and CPU are working just fine with any other monitor. What's even weird is if I boot the computer with another monitor and connect the VGA to the E2216HV it works fine only to fail in the next reboot. What would reason for this error? And is there a way to troubleshoot it?

1907FP alternates between on and off by itself
I just started using this Dell 1907FP, starting 2 days ago it began to power off and on, on its own.
I've tried multiple sockets and double checked every cable and nothing seems to be wrong with those.
Another odd thing that happens is when it turns off on its own, if I press the power button it stays off, however when I press any of the other 4 buttons it will turn back on, and while on if I do press the power button it won't turn off, I have to press the other buttons for it to turn off.
The monitor was previously used by my brother and he had no issues with it.

I am looking at X-rite 1Idisplay pro but it is very expensive. Can i use the X-rite colormunki that is much cheaper, or is it not good enough?

U2417H Monitors flickering/turning off and back on frequently
We recently purchased some machines, docking stations and monitors for 2 employees in our office building. The machines are Precision 3520 workstations (32GB model), the docking stations are WD15's (k17a) and the monitors as shown in the title are U2417H monitors.
The problem they've been reporting, is that the monitors will go black momentarily (maybe for 2-5 seconds) and they'll come back as if nothing happened. This is happening frequently enough day in and day out, that it is distracting them from their work. We've done everything we can think to troubleshoot the issue. We've done clean installs of the Dell approved nvidia graphics card drivers, reinstalled the Intel HD graphics driver, installed the monitor drivers (formally they were generic uPnP windows monitor drivers), updated the BIOS and other Dell drivers via the driver detect utility, updated the docking station firmware, switched out docks and cables (the docks they were using were swapped , changed settings on the monitor themselves, and even got a replacement machine sent out, which didn't change a thing.
At this point, myself and the IT department feel we're going down the rabbit hole, trying everything we can think of to resolve the issue. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Can Intel i5-6500 do higher than 1920x1080 resolution?
We're receiving 23.8" monitors for new systems we've ordered and I'm wondering if there's a way to make our OptiPlex 7040 desktops display greater than 1920x1080 resolution. I've tried using the Intel HD Graphics Control Panel to create a custom resolution, but haven't been able to get anything to work. I've looked for guides online about "overclocking" the display, but can't find anything that works.
Intel Core i5-6500 CPU, HD Graphics 530, Display Port connection on P2417H monitor.

P4317q USB hub question
I have a couple of these monitors and have set the units up with a couple of PCs connected to one of the monitors. I have connected one of the PCs to the USB 3 uplink to enable use of a mouse and keyboard via the USB hub. Now how do I control the second PC without the need for a second keyboard and mouse?

U2913WM, powers on, but otherwise completely unresponsive
I have had this monitor for only two months (the second U2913WM I own), and this morning it became totally unresponsive. The current symptoms are as follows:
- it is unresponsive when connected via any port, or any computer
- Monitor powers on : there's a beep, the 4 function LEDs cycle on and the off, and the power LED lights continuously. The screen is completely black, no back-light or image, and no response from input or function keys.
- as such, the monitor OSD/menu is not accessible.
- To power monitor off, it has to be done by holding down power button for a few seconds until power-off. Sometimes it just restarts when this is done.
- Monitor will not enter Self-Test mode when disconnected and powered-on.
I have tried the following:
Power-off everything, Power-on later. No joy.
Following Dell troubleshooting guide I tried to put the Dell monitor into Self-Test mode, but no joy.
Tried a different port connection mini display port, cdmi (I use a MacBook Pro). No Joy
Tried connecting the monitor to a different computer. No joy.
