I recently bought a Dell S2440L monitor.
I like it ...I like it so much that I am bothered by small dark stain spots on the screen.
I thought it is stain form my fingers...so I cleaned the screen with a soft wipe cloth. But to avail.
On taking a closer look, it is a shadow/stain on the LED screen that is not wipeable and seems to be beneath the outermost glass surface.
Are the pixels weak (not dead yet) here?
I tried to capture these faint shadow like stains in a screenshot; but they are hard to see in the image but they are easy visible to naked eyes.
Are these stains show stoppers for me? Absolutely Not.
But I worry if these stains point to potential serious problem with the pixels in these regions, that can get aggravated in near future.
