S2240L, broken panel, no warranty, replacement?

And please can you improve the monitor repairing services(I was unaware of it being so worst)? I bought a Dell S2240L few months ago and I loved the screen but yesterday accidentally it got hit my by a plastic ball and thus it broke internally(outer screen protector doesn't even has a scratch). It has a few cracks on the internal screen(below the screen protector glass) and that is why my whole screen got damaged. Hence I found out that the screen protector which is made to protect the screen actually protects itself and not the screen(useless). The screen is very vulnerable and delicate(please take a look into this).

When I tried to contact Dell Customer Care they told me that the physical damage is not included in the warranty which is okay with me but they told me dell doesn't even have any repairing service centre(this is not expected from a company like dell). They further told me to contact any local monitor repairing centre and see if they can do anything.

When I  contacted numerous monitor repairing centres around I got the same answer that the panel is not available in the market and they tried to ask many vendors and dealers and retailers but no positive outcome. They also told me that I should try contacting dell for the screen panel if available with them.

When I called Dell Customer Care again, the guy on the other side told me that dell doesn't supply any such part globally and it is a policy(What a senseless policy, you make the product but don't supply the parts such as monitor panel). And instead of giving me a good advice about what should I do with the screen in order to make it function again, he started telling me don't let children play around and all those personal stuff(What kind of training does he has?). He gave me this reference number if needed in future with customer care: 920404910.

Now the major question is "What should I do with the Screen as I haven't even enough to make it worth its price and I cannot put it to junk?". What kind of products and service is dell providing? I used to trust and recommend Dell products but I guess its the time for me to move on to brands as Dell doesn't seem to be caring about customers any more.

Please help me one last time.
