rev A01 ( i know theres higher numbers but not necessarily fixes problems.)
tried all cables [in the box and my own]all ports tried dp1.0 and 1.2 on a nvidia titan with latest (aug drivers)
cant calibrate monitor using dell cd + xrite as the usb doesnt work anymore...(it did once )
cant see mydesktop when its blanked out have to swtich off monitor from powersocket sometimes as the menu buttons have frozen so they also dont work .. sparklies on screen randomly also...
We all know that its a dell problem and they just need to give us a new monitor (possibly higher rev number) its not my £3k pc, its not a cable issue its not a ,powersocket issue its just a badly setup monitor or wrong firmware hastily released to market and now customers of dell have to suffer for it ..
called support number from the uk website ...was told she had no power to decide on a new monitor send out? ehh? she mentioned she would have had to email me back so i can send her the forum links (this one) that ive been getting this information from. she doesnt know who chris-m is. ok fine maybe you dont.
"you require any further assistance from Dell feel free to use the online options below...". SO now i have to restart the conversation with someone else who wont do anything about this?! or reply to her in the hope she can call be back one day!? after speaking to her manager i mean really? i reminded her that the post i read may be on the american forum but they had more people on it who bought the monitor and had the info about the issues which could help us). Really what is the point? anyone in uk able to do something?!i ring but they just didnt know how to do their job, no outcome to my situation? wierd way to deal with a customer..?! (although she was perfectly polite.).
