Hello - new to the forums
Can anyone help me with this?
I have a raspberry Pi computer that is set to output 1280 x 720 ( 720p) over hdmi.
i bought a used dell 170FPVt, which has a max resolution of 1280x1024.
I connect to the monitor using a hdmi- dvi cable.
With an output selected of 1280 x 720, the dell refuses to show anything saying that the there is no setting for this video mode??
The highest output resolution I can get is, - as expected - 1280x 1024 - BUT- what I need is 1280 x 720 ONLY.
I don't understand why the dell can't show me that resolution, albeit with some screen blanking ?
I noticed the manual shows several display preset modes. none of which include 1280 x 720.
Does this mean the monitor cannot show this resolution, or is there something I am missing
