I've read the FAQ on buzzing, but the softwaresolutions for OS X don't seem promising.
One "solution" would be to set brightness at 90+ and compensate by lowering the contrast setting. But why doesn't the "Energy Use" meter (on the OSD) go down with this "solution"? Is this because the contrast only adjusts how much light is being passed through? And the LED is still emitting light at almost full brightness?
Do all P2715Qs exhibit this buzzing? Is it from PWM? I find this to be a major flaw, since the hum at 50 brightness (which is where I'd like to run the monitor) gets quite loud. What are my return options? [I'm not willing to pay return-shipping costs for a faulty merchandise.]
