Hi: I have just received a new Dell E2014T. The touch functions are not working properly.
I am running Windows 8-64 with all updates. I have rebooted the computer, the monitor and have reseated the USB cable at the computer.
I have run the W8 calibration SW, and all 14 touch points register properly.
Most touch functions work well, including many that operate on the right-hand side of the monitor (such as "touch and hold", which brings up a context menu, and scroll left and right in the Metro screen).
Except these do not work:
1. Dell's OSD will display, but will not respond to touch or to mouse.
2. When in an application or desktop, the "swipe from right" gesture does not work.
3. Selecting applications from the bottom task bar does not operate properly.
