Hello, I bought a Dell Moniter yesterday, U2414H, and was using it perfectly fine for a few hours. Suddenly, I am unable to power it on. There's nothing wrong with my CPU, my system is still running fine and I've connected it to another moniter to check.
I've googled and it appears that my moniter is asleep and its Stucked in that mode. When my system is off, the white light is glowing. The strangest thing is that, there is NOTHING on the display, no matter what I tried, on/off, plugging out all the cables and putting it back, nothing comes up on the screen. And when I say nothing, I really meant nothing, not even the DELL logo upon start up, not even the menu selection when I press the menu button keys. It's just a blank black screen (but it is on though, the screen is just blank, a lit up blank black screen so to speak). The only thing that works is the power on and off button.
Can you help me on this please? Bear in mind, nothing appears on the screen, not even the DELL logo upon start up, or the moniter's menu. Thanks!!
