I bought two U2415 monitors and I am trying to connect both to my laptop.
M1 is connected to samsung laptop with HDMI, works great.
M2 tried with daisy connection. After contacting Samsung my graphics card does not support DP1.2
My Laptop has also a VGA out port. I tried a HDMI to VGA adpater, connecting the VGA out to the HDMI adaptor and then this to the HDMI in port in M2. Although windows recognizes the second monitor, calls it a "Generic Non-PnP Monitor" with a resolution of 1024x768 and the extend desktop display function does not work as M2 is black.
Is there an option to connect my laptop with the VGA port to the U2415 as a second monitor? I tried this connection as a single monitor and does not work as well... upscale VGA to HDMI will never work? Is there any adapter? That means I will have to return one monitor?
Reason line = two U2415 monitors to connect to laptop wwith HDMI and VGA ports.
