U2715H, Uniformity Issue & Backlight Bleeding

I just received my U2715H two days ago and I've noticed the display color/backlight is not uniform (the left side has a pinkish hue and the brightness levels vary from top to bottom). Also have backlight bleed. I find this
unacceptable when paying $650 for a monitor when my previous $150 one didn't have any of these issues. Please tell me this is a defect.Image may be NSFW.
