I would very much appreciate assistance from a Dell representative in this matter.
I purchased two U2414h monitors from Dell. I requested a price match discount for a lower price offered by a competitor online retailer. Dell agreed to sell me the monitors for the lower price. Dell charged my debit card and shipped the monitors. Right before the monitors were scheduled to go out for delivery on the truck, Dell cancelled the order and took return of the monitors.
I still want to purchase the monitors. But, get this, Dell is refusing to honor the original price that they sold me the monitors for. Dell is trying to sell me the monitors now for a higher price. So, they backed out of our sale agreement and now want to charge me more.
Not only that, I have spent over two hours of my time going back and forth with more than 10 Dell phone reps trying to understand why Dell is doing this. So far, Dell phone reps represent inconsistent statements to me.
This is clear misrepresentation. This is by far one of the most disappointing consumer purchases I have made in a long time. Can someone from Dell with some authority help make good on this situation.
