I bought my XPS8300 machine from Costco last year. The monitor it came with is 24 inch ST2421L. I recently upgraded the Operating system to Windows 8. Since then my monitor displays only 22 inches of the screen instead of complete 24 inches. Basically there is an inch of non-displayed black strip around the 22 displayed part. The clarity of the letters has gone down. This seems to only happen when I use HDMI connection. I upgraded the driver and from DELL's site and I made sure they are current. I'm selected the maximum resolution 1920x1080 that is available in the resolution setting. Did anyone run into similar issue? It appears like it is a driver issue. Not really sure what my options are. I really appreciate any help
