I am working in UAE. I want to buy a pivot-able monitor and so I went through stores here in UAE, to ensure good warranty and after sale services. However, including online stores, I find none. Thus I am starting to look through foreign sites such as amazon.com which is offering nice prices even with delivery included.
Now to the question: Can I buy the monitor from amazon.com and get its warranty active here in UAE?
I heard about int'l warranty transfer, but I am asking to make sure that it is applicable also to monitors.
Also, if I can transfer the warranty, where and how could I claim it in case of defects?
