I am the proud owner of two brand new U2413 monitors Rev A00 manufactured Dec 2013. As soon as I got them, I connected them in a daisy chain to my laptop(DP V1) using the supplied DisplayPort cables, did a factory reset, changed from the standard preset mode to the factory calibrated Adobe RGB and sRGB emulated modes and viewed a 100% white image. The laptop does not support DP1.2 so the laptop sees just on monitor and image on the first monitor in the chain is also sent to the second monitor,
The standard preset mode looked quite similar on both monitors, but to my horror the Adobe RGB mode had a nasty green cast and the sRGB mode had a nasty purple cast.
This is without any dell software from the CD, also changing the order in the chain did not help.
Is the screen on the right defective?
