Hi,
I just got the new dual U2414H monitors and after lot of hassle and trying to get them to work in daisy chain with display port 1.2 is not working. Below is my config:
OS: WIn 7 Ultimate 64bit
GPU: EVGA GTX 760 with latest Nvidia 334.89 drivers installed
Motherboard: ASUS Rampage II Extreme
RAM: 8GB
I have monitor 2 connected to MST out port of monitor 1 with display port 1.2 enabled in monitor 2. But when i enable display port 1.2 in monitor 1 the screen goes black and gives message Entering power saving mode. If i disable DP 1.2 in monitor 1 and enabled in monitor 2 the display shows but desktop is cloned in both monitors. It does not let me stretch the display to the second.
I also noticed that while windows is booting with windows logo showing on screen if i enable DP 1.2 on monitor 1 it somehow is ok with that but as soon windows completes the boot it goes power saving mode and gives black screen.
I had to reset the motherboard bios for all the above to happen which took me a long time to figure. But need help to get this thing working asap. What is the correct way to set this up or is this is a display port issue? I tried some of things from other similar posts here but nothing has helped so far. Please help.
