Installed vid card. On boot up get error message. This puter has both onboard video and video card in PCI slot. Remove the card or disconnect onboard video -- system halted. Help, I'm try to install the graphics card. How do I disconnect the onboard video? My setting options in "setup" are 1) auto, or 2) onboard/card. I've tried both settings to no avail. I removed the Radeon card, Used VGA, opened windows device manager, and, "disabled" the onboard video adapter as per instructions in the Radeon installation guide-- screen reverted to a lower resolution. Shutdown the computer-- put the card back in the PCI express slot, removed the VGA from onboard port, and, plugged it into the card, and re-started the computer -- error on monitor -- no signal. No characters on screen whatever. So I moved the VGA plug back to the onboard port, and, restarted -- result is the original error message -- this puter has both an onboard video port and a card in the PCI slot. This config not supported. Remove the card or "disconnect" the onboard video port. Please help -- how to "disconnect" the onboard video port.
