Current status of the plethora of issues with U3014? Are "refurbished" unit going to have these problems?

There is a nice deal on the U3014 in Dell Outlet.  If these monitors are going to have the same issues I am going to just return it immediately.  Someone from Dell please chime in and tell us these won't have those same issues.
