Hi everyone,
I just got my new U2913WM yesterday. It works great other then it says no display port cable when on the display port input. The monitor works fine with a DVI cable and my PC, but i get no cable error if I try to use a DP cable with ether the PC or Mac. I would like to get one of them to work with the DP cable as my Mac wont pick up the correct monitor resolution when using HDMI.
- I have 2 computers, 1 PC and 1 Mac.
- My PC has 2 DP ports and my Mac has 1
- I have tried the cable in all 3 DP ports with the same results
- I went out and purchased a new DP cable and still had the same issue.
- I have tried turning off the PC, Mac, and the monitor and turned them back on again
- I have also tried turning on and off the DP 1.2 setting in the monitors OSD
Can anyone think of anything else I can try? I am kind of at a loss at the moment other then to contact support.
