Hi, I found my way over here to the forums after my Display Port > Mini Display Port functionality stopped working. I was able to resolve that by unplugging the power cord (turning the power on/off wasn't enough) and plugging it back in. Silly me to not think of that troubleshooting step.
I've had to unplug the power cord several times before - but the behavior was different - I wasn't able to turn the monitor OFF after putting the computer to sleep w/ the power button without physically unplugging the monitor. The power-button indicator light stays solid. That happens probably once a month? Anyone else with that behavior? Warrant a replacement?
The other issue that has been on-going - but I don't think was there from the beginning - is a rapid muted "clicking/ticking" coming from the monitor after I turn it off w/ the power button. It stops that clicking/ticking as soon as I turn it on. But, again, as long as the monitor is powered off (and the cord is plugged in) it makes a rapid clicking/ticking. Anyone experienced this?
I believe I saw that there are multiple versions of firmware available for the P2715Q? The sticker on the back of the monitor says Revision A01. The monitor was manufactured in April 2015.
