I bought a new monitor (U24141H) from ebay and the seller says there is a 5 years warranty and advance exchange. I can't verify with the monitor's service tag or express code on dell support online because it can't be found. I called support and they said it is not found. again So I provided him the order number the seller gave me and he said the monitor is covered as stated. I checked the order number and it shows that the seller order a lot of these monitors with a laptop. The support also said that if I need to exchange the monitor i will need to take ownership. I tried doing that and I can't because the service tag is not found.
So how can i get support if the service tag doesn't work.
