Hoping someone here can help me out, I've tried everything I can find via google.
I'm a photographer so having a calibrated monitor is a big deal to me. It's why I went with a Dell IPS and bought the i1Display to go with it. It used to work just fine... however now:
Whenever I attempted to calibrate using the Dell Calibration software I receive an error message saying "failed to connect - found more then one matching display, please connect the usb cable to only the monitor you want to calibrate". Note: This only occurs during the measurement stage, the i1display pro itself works fine up until that point (testing for luminosity for example).
I'f read it might be an issue with the USB3, so replaced it with USB2 in a USB2 port and no change. I've restored the monitor to factory defaults, no change. I've updated every single driver thats even remotely related, no change. I've unplugged everything except the monitor itself, no change. Plugged the i1Display into the monitor usb vs the actual PC, no change.
Same message no matter what I do.
So what am I missing?
