U2414H display issue

Hi,

I recently bought a Dell U2414H through Umart (Australia), last month, received just two weeks ago.

Everything was great, very satisfied with the screen until the screen started to act strange. The screen is constantly flashing, it's hard to describe, it's like if you record a screen with a camera and watch the screen on that video. I also noticed that if I display a black image on the whole screen, I can see what the screen was displaying when it started to bug (the chrome webpage I was looking at), so basically the screen now flickers with the current display and the display from when the issue occurred.

I tried resetting all the settings on the screen, even factory reset. I tried to switch from my mini DisplayPort cable to HDMI without any success which tell me the screen might be faulty. I tried to unplug the screen including power cable for a while.

I am currently running the online dell system detect see if it can find anything and will be running a Built in diagnostic right after. I will update if I see any progress, else assume it fails.

I tried looking the issue online but all I can find is DisplayPort issue and screen not detected which does not match with my own issue.

What are my options? Something I can try to fix it or it's a lost cause? I have to say it's a very stressful situation and if possible I would like it to be fixed without having to change the screen...

Regards

EDIT: I did the Built in diagnostic, all colors displayed correctly except the grey which also displayed the previous screen as overlay in grey color.

I let the screen sleep for the night with all cables unplugged. This morning, the overlay image is not here anymore but the constant flashing is still present. Maybe there is something I can do to fix the issue?
