I have a Dell U2415 monitor running from an XPS 13 via a mDP to DP cable.
Periodically and increasingly commonly, it starts flickering and flushing black repeatedly for anywhere from 1 second to 30 seconds. The OSD, if open, shuts down with each flicker.
I'm tried shutting the monitor down as well as running it with only the power and DP cables attached but this does not resolve the flickering.
Disconnecting the DP cable stops the flickering and the "No Input" OSD notice appears on the screen continuously.
The XPS13 in built monitor continues to function as normal wit no blinking.
Changing the resolution, refresh rate etc, does not appear to help.
