I have a Dell Latitude E6430 with the Dell E Port Plus II Docking Station. I am running Windows 10
Operating System
Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
CPU
Intel Core i7 3740QM @ 2.70GHz 63 °C
Ivy Bridge 22nm Technology
RAM
8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 798MHz (11-11-11-28)
Motherboard
Dell Inc. 0H3MT5 (SOCKET 0)
Graphics
Generic PnP Monitor (1600x900@60Hz)
DELL P2012H (900x1600@60Hz)
Intel HD Graphics 4000 (Dell)
1023MB NVIDIA NVS 5200M (Dell) 47 °C
Storage
232GB Samsung SSD 850 EVO 250GB (SSD) 40 °C
I plug one monitor in(DVI port) and it works fine. If I plug in a second monitor(DVI port 2), both won't work. If I unplug either monitor, the other works. I have tested both monitors, on both ports, and both ports and both monitors work, and both ports work... Just not at the same time. I had this working previously with a different dock and a different pair of monitors. Since I know both monitors work individually, I think the problem is the docking station...
If I connect an HDMI monitor/TV to the HDMI port directly on the laptop, I can run a third screen that way... But I really want to run two DVI monitors to allow for easy/quick docking and undocking.
Also, I have the latest NVIDIA Drviers downloaded straight from the Dell website.
Does anyone know how to solve this? Searching online and in this forum has turned up nothing, so I turn my questions over to you, the wizards...
