U2414H, goes black, flickering horizontal line

Hi,

my 6 month old monitor suddenly goes black with horizontal line flicking on the screen. Im using a HDMI cable and thought it might be the cable but it was fine when i tested it with another monitor. The flickering horizontal line still persist when i power on the monitor even without any cables plugin in the display port. Im not sure what seems to be the problem. help.
