Faulty Monitors

Hi all,

 

About 5 months ago I purchased a Dell P2815Q HD monitor. After two months it went faulty and I returned it to the dealer I bought it from. After a week or so, needing a monitor, I bought another. The second monitor arrived faulty. The dealer advised me that dell would supply a replacement and gave me a phone number to contact them on.

 

I contacted dell and asked for a replacement. Dell asked me for proof of purchase. I sent them my Amazon order. After a week or so they asked me for more proof of purchase. I sent them my invoice. Since then I have asked twice for my replacement monitor. Both times I was given some silly reply like “I am waiting for a correction of warranty” but no offer of a replacement.

 

I then contacted the German company to whom I had returned the first monitor and asked why they had not replaced it. They said that they had asked Dell for a replacement but that none was forthcoming.

 

Does anyone know how to get Dell to honour their warranties?
