My Dell U2713H monitor has developed a very annoying high pitched whine, which seems to be coming from the electronics at the lower rear of the monitor. Is this a known issue, and is there a fix? It's clearly audible at normal viwing distance, and is very distracting. Although I'm probably more sensitive to this sort of thing than average (I went to some trouble to build a silent machine), it is extremely annoying to me, and I don't think it's unreasonable to expect my screen to be silent in operation.
The monitor is still (just) in warranty - will Dell fix this?
