The colour space emulation on my UP3216Q seems to have stopped working. Any colour space I select other than Adobe RGB still uses the Adobe RGB colour space. This is evident when I use the Zonal Colour function - the colours on both sides look the same even if one is set to, say, sRGB and the other to Adobe RGB.
Resetting the colour and doing a factory reset made no difference.
I can still use the Dell Calibration Software to calibrate CAL 1 and CAL 2 to different colour spaces. But I'm also having problems with that process. I'm using an i1 Display Pro and Windows 10 Pro 64 bit and I'm getting terrible banding in the greyscale whenever I do an sRGB or Adobe RGB calibration. Surely the purpose of an internal LUT is to prevent this?
If others have calibrated their UP3216Q, I'd be grateful if you could look at the gradient on the following page and tell me whether you can see banding in it (particular in darker colours): www.lagom.nl/.../gradient.php
Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Otherwise I will have to try to get a replacement next week.
