Dell 27 Ultra HD 4K Monitor – P2715Q

Hi,

I am looking at getting either the P2715Q or the Dell UltraSharp 27 Monitor – U2715H.

I would be using it with a 15" MacBook Pro mid 2010.  The  2010 Macbook supports up to 2560 by 1600 pixels on an external display.

Would the P2715Q still work with it?

What connection would be best? HDMI or Display Port?

Which monitor is better for visual design work and photography?
