Dell U3415w no picture (Brand new)

Hello,

I just purchased a Dell u3415w monitor and have connected it to a GTX670 display card via mini-display port to display port (included cable) but get no picture.

I also tried a normal display port cable, no picture.

If I connect the display port of my computer to my older monitor, I get a picture, no problem.

Any ideas of what I am doing wrong?

Windows 7
NVIDIA GTX 670
* Neither of which ever see the monitor show up as an option when connected
