I bought a DELL U3014 in January 2015 but started to use it in June then was away for 3 months.
Now the problem: it worked few times connected using DP to my PC (nVidia GTX970). Then it would turn black for no reason. Now, when I turn it on, the monitor blue led is lit but nothing happen, the monitor is black. The monitor is not detected by the computer. If I use a DVI cable the monitor is detected but stays black. I tried the original DP cable and many other DP cables that work fine but the monitor is black and not detected.
Of course, I tried on many different computers (DVI, DP, HDMI) and my DELL M3800 but to no avail.
I am tired of trying all the suggestions I could find online. I just want DELL to take back this useless piece of junk. I have spent tens of thousand of pounds over the last 15 years on DELL hardware for work and for home. This is very frustrating and disappointing.
Please advise on how to return this monitor.
