In early June of this year I purchased a new P2715Q from Amazon. Periodically (some days very frequently), the display will not wake from sleep or even display a picture when starting up the computer. The resolution is set at 3480x2160 60Hz and is connected via DP cable. I've tried the monitor factory reset several times and tried several DP and mini DP cables. Nvidia GTX 970 driver is current. Initial display is set to PCIE in BIOS.
The monitor revision is A02.
I've seen several posts about this issue with this monitor. Last week I registered the monitor in my name using the service tag. I never received an email confirming this registration. Does it really take 15 business days to register the monitor?
Also, in another post, a customer with similar issue was told he was only eligible for a used exchange. Is this my only option to get a fully functional monitor even though the monitor is still under warranty?
