1440p monitor with Dell XPS 13 laptop?

Will a Dell1440p monitor (like the U2515H 25" Ultrasharp) work with an XPS 13 laptop with touch screen and 3200x1800 resolution. (I'm OK without touch on the external monitor.)

When I invoke: windows 10 desktop -> graphic options -> resolution I do not see 2560x1440 as a resolution option. (There are other 16:9 resolutions like 3200x1800, 2048x1152, 1920x1080)

So, will my XPS 13 work with this monitor? Will the graphics card detect and set the resolution to 2560x1440. Or can I do it with a custom resolution?
