I just bought a u2414h monitor earlier for my brand new custom made desktop. However when I tried to connect my display port cable to my desktop (the mdp is connected to the monitor) it says power save mode. then it comes an error message saying there is no signal. so I tried using a hdmi to hdmi cable instead and the same thing happened again. So I tried to get an old monitor to test out, it managed to appear on the old monitor instead of the new dell monitor. please advise on what to do. Thanks.
