There is no signal between the computer and the monitor. Today I haven't been able to get it working at all. Someday's it hasn't been much of an issue, but other days I needed to restart the computer and things were fine. But now there is no signal transferred whatsoever. The screen is black except when I try to click at one of the four buttons of the screen. When I do that an information box appears saying there is no signal coming from the computer. I've tried unplugging all cables, and then reset it by pressing the power button for 15 seconds, however, that didn't work out. It seems like the monitor figures out that I've inserted a cable, but it isn't receiving any information. Besides trying the cable that came with the monitor, I've tried a Clicktronic High Quality DisplayPort cable with the following specifications:
Mechanical locking of the DisplayPort plug prevents loose connections.
Pure copper conductor and 2-way shielding for clear signal quality.
Data transmission at up to 10.8 Gbit/s for 3D and HDTV up to 2160p.
24 carat gold-plated contacts for minimum transmission resistance.
Edit: The screen doesn't appear in Device Manager either.
