This fine monitor blacks out and distorts constantly, using a VGA connector and a MiniDisplayPort adapter. I found the thread below that solves the issue, for U2414H monitors with similar issues, but the steps don't match for my monitor and Google has let me down. Please, can someone tell me how to fix this incompatibility issue for this monitor that I have to use?
In case it makes a difference, my monitor model number reads S2240Mc on the back but just S2240M in the display's menu.
If DP 1.2 is not the cause on this monitor, other solutions will be appreciated. thanks!
