Unfortunately this is the same problem i had as 16 months ago. Heres what happened last time:
Monitor was sleeping after a few mins of uptime after I turned on my PC.
I was advised to replace the monitor which I did, then the same problem was happening with the new monitor so I replaced the PC with a refurb, a Dell Optiplex 330 I also replaced the surge protector. I had replaced my entire system.
Everything worked for about 16 months until just recently when the new monitor is now doing the same thing as the old monitor was. Normally it will stay lit for a few minutes like maybe 4 minutes then shut of after a quick flash. I am wondering if there is some problem with my electric outlet thats causing the PC and monitor to break.
How should I handle this problem?
