I have a Dell 3014 Rev A01 mfg Mar 2013, bought Jun 1st week (2013). It is connected to my 2013 MacBook Air running 10.8.4 via miniDP to DP adapter and a DP cable to the monitor
Been battling screen blanks in the middle of work - no amount ot closing the laptop screen or opening helps. The power LED fades in and out at this time signaling a power save mode. However the screen is black (not off). The only way I can get around this very frustrating problem is removign the mini DP adapter, the power cable and powering back the monitor up, connecting the mini DP cable back. It took me a while to isolate this issue to this monitor.
I tried the same MB Air with another 24" monitor via the same mini DP and have had no issues.
Anyone seen this wierd problem? Know if there is a firmware update or a software fix for it?
