It is not normal for the monitor not showing full screen. Watch some of the YouTube videos.
I have dual monitors attached. One displays full screen and the other one has a border. I am trying to solve the problem..
I have a Dell AMD Radeon HD 7570 Video Card with two connectors - 1 dvi, 1 HDMI. I have dual monitors that only accept DP(Display Port) or HDMI. I therefore elected to use the HDMI. One form the card's HDMI port, and attached a DVI to HDMI adapter on the DMI connector creating a HDMI port.
When I bring up the Dell U2414H monitors. One has the image filling the whole monitor and the other one has a black boarder around it. I would like both monitors to display the image over the whole screen.
Dell says it is a setting. They said the system thinks it is getting a DVI signal instead of the HDMI signal. They would help me but because I am out of warranty they want me to pay them $130 for help. Too much for me.
I do not know what setting they are talking about. It is not the monitor. It could be
BIOS or maybe the card. Need help.
