I purchased a U3415W from Amazon last week. I set it up for the first time this weekend. Within a day, the beautiful picture went from glorious to unusable. Here are some photos of what it looks like now.
I tried multiple cables including different HDMI and DisplayPort connections. Tried multiple computers: my custom built liquid cooled gaming PC and two MacBook Pros. All exhibit the same exact symptom. Occasionally, powering the display off and back on makes the normal picture appear again but only for a few minutes before becoming completely garbled again.
Amazon has already sent me a replacement that is getting delivered tomorrow but I wanted to know if there have been these kinds of issues with these displays. I've had Dell displays for years and never had an issue, but now with the new curved display, I have a problem right out of the box.
