New Dell XPS 8700 with AMD Radeon™ HD 7570 card. Dell 2407WFP monitor connected via DVI is all green color

I have an old PC I built. Two DVI-D outputs with DVI-D single link cables to two Dell 2407 WFP (circa 2007) monitors. Win 7 Pro. Works perfectly.

Just upgraded to a new XPS8700 with the AMD HD7570 card. DVI and HDMI connectors on the card.

When the DVI port (using a DVI-D single link to DVI-D single link OR a different DVI D dual to dual link cable) is used, the monitor color, from the Dell logo (even in bios) pre Windows boot on to fully loaded Windows 7 Home Premium, is greenish/bluish colored. It's as if red didn't exist. All drivers/Windows updates done from the first boot from when I first turned it on. No error messages. No Device Manager faults. The colors are simply bluish green.

Swapped the single link and then the dual link DVI-D cable to the other monitor. No improvement. Swapped out the DVI D dual link cable with another identical DVI-D cable. Same only green/blue colors.

Now, If I connect an HDMI-DVI cable from the HDMI port of the card to either monitor, it works perfectly.

If I use the included DVI-VGA adapter and connect a VGA cable to it and either monitor, it works perfectly.

And lastly, if I connect the DVI D Dual Link cable from the DVI to a different Dell monitor, a S2209Wb, it ALSO works perfectly.

Thus, are my Dell 2407WFP monitors incompatible with new DVI connectors?

I also removed the AMD 7570 card and installed it into my old PC. Using the DVI-D dual link cable, It too had the same green color from boot and bios all the way through to my old Windows 7 Pro starting up..

Are my Dell 2407 WFP monitors incompatible with new DVI specs?

OR is something wrong with the card or the XPS 8700?
