U2415, U2412M, Surface Pro 3, Dock DP1.2 issue

Hi, I have the exact same problem with my Microsoft Surface Pro 3 and the SP Docking Station. I am trying to get two monitors working off the docking station with DisplayPort 1.2 (daisy chaining).

In my instance:

#1 Monitor = Del U2415

#2 Monitor = Dell U2412M

This scenario works:

* The SP3 is using its 36w power cable

* SP3 mDP out --> Dell mDP to DP cable --> #1 monitor DP in (DisplayPort 1.2 Enabled)

* #1 monitor DP out --> DP to DP cable --> #2 monitor DP in (DisplayPort 1.2 Disabled)

This scenario does NOT work:

* The SP3 Dock is using its 48w power cable

* SP3 Dock mDP out --> Dell mDP to DP cable --> #1 monitor DP in (DisplayPort 1.2 Enabled)

* #1 monitor DP out --> DP to DP cable --> #2 monitor DP in (DisplayPort 1.2 Disabled

All cables used have been supplied by Dell.
