U2515H Eye strain

Hello i'm writing this post because i'm concerned with my U2515h rev A00 quality:

-first of all left part of the monitor seems to be brighter than the right one, im not sure if thats the IPS Glow or backlight bleeding but it is noticable when im working in AutoCad with black background (although when using the monitor for normal activities like gaming/web browsing it's hard to notice the unequality of the monitor so i guess thats just normal for any IPS panel). I've set brigthess at 20% level, and other settings are default.

- i dont know why but even after such short period of time like 10-20 minutes, my left (yes, youve read that correctly, only left eye ;)) eye seems to feel different - some kind of visual migraine however im not sure how to call it properly, it just seems like my left eye vision starts to be a little fuzzy/blurred. Headache is not a problem however i feel strange when working with this monitor and definitely wont be able to work for full 8 hours on it. Before using this panel ive been working on a 42inch 720p plasma at a distance of about 5-6feet and even though the DPI was horrible (37) my eyes were perfectly fine, and didnt notice any problems. Im wondering if the eye strain problem is connected with unequal lighting of the monitor - left side is brighter and my left eye is uncomfortable? Ive tried both HDMI and mDP cables and there's no difference. Im seriously thinking about sending this monitor away because spending 350 euro for a professional monitor that is unequally lit and makes my eyes hurt does seem ridiculous - ive used multiple different monitors on laptops or standalone ones and never had such problems with my eyes.

Edit. I didnt install anything from the CD provided with the monitor - not sure if that changes anything
