I received this monitor today. HDMI - one of the ports work, seems other does not (no picture, just blank screen). Have plugged in DP to mDP and selected the right source using OSD. Screen stays black. Have tried unplugging cables in different orders from monitor and from pc, same issue. Once in about 10 tries, and having to press reboot on my pc (which I do not like to do) whilst not seeing the screen, mDP is picked and I have a picture. I then reboot and sometimes a picture shows, otherwise it goes into power save mode. I can get zero consistency with this. The way I made mDP work in the first place was by unplugging the second monitor (which was plugged into dvi) and changing power options in Window to 'high'. But then after a restart it's all gone again (black screen/power save mode) and then I shutdown and try HDMI and then that doesn't work once booted so I have to force a reboot of the computer (not good to do this). I tried changing 1.2 DP mode in OSD, same results. I have attached a picture of the IPS glow, seems pretty bad? I bought the monitor from a respected reseller. They have said I need to send it back. I don't mind doing this but it will take some of my time to get back in the box (that is going to be a huge job!), then load in car, then go to post office, fill out all the forms then wait and be home when delivered. I just hope I receive a working model but I am expecting exactly the same results unfortunately. My current monitor is a dell2407, I have had this since 2007 and have had no issues with it.
