I recently purchased 2 new P2715Q monitors, not from Dell, but new. Both have valid express service codes and reveal that I have the full 3 years left of support. Both have dead pixels, one worse than the other.
So far, I've contacted 3 different numbers. I've gotten automated messages that I don't have warranty without ever asking me for my service codes. I've been put on hold by an agent for 20 minutes (not an exaggeration) only for them to never return. I called a 3rd number (8008228965) and was told the department I need is closed. The support site says that number is 24/7. It's 11AM on the east cost, 8AM on the west.
Is there some secret handshake I'm not aware of? I like the panels, and the issues I'm having I've seen many other reports of on the internet, and those people had success with the advance replacement program. I'd like to do that vs return them.
