Dell U2414H - Causing Continuous Reboot Cycle - 15/05/2015

Hello,

Last month i replaced my old HP monitor with the Dell U2414H,

Since then i have had problems every day with my computer failing to boot, re-cycling every 1 second upon cold start-up, and the monitor failing to initialize or wake from sleep when the computer actually boots.

After i play around and boot multiple times i eventually get the monitor to start and run normally but I am now at a loss how to fix this or where to turn next. It takes atleast 15 minutes each time i go to use my computer and it appears to be the the Dell U2414H's fault.

Start-Up process with U2414H attached - Single Screen ONLY - GTX680 DP Out Port

1) Power on - Computer fans run and boots normally
- Screen shuts down to power saver
- No display

2) Pull out rear Display Port plug and re-insert
- Nothing

3) Turn off screen to discharge then re-power on screen
- Nothing

4) Turn off computer or restart via button. Start Up computer.
- Computer goes into 1 second boot loop and continuously cycles up with fans and shuts down, then repeats same. Does this until shut down manually. Doesnt get to Post or BIOS.
- Has to be shut down.

5) Computer now wont even boot at all from power button or Mobo power button.
- Completely wont boot at all, but power still on.
- Then i have to discharge the PSU from PC rear and re-connect.

6) Power computer on again, goes into boot loop cycling every second.
- Doesn't hit post
- No display

7) Pull Display Port cord from back of computer, and instantly on its boot loop, kicks computer into full normal load.  Replug in Display Port cable.
- No monitor display though

Rinse and repeat until SOMETHING eventually kicks in and the monitor starts with the computer as it should do normally.

There is something seriously wrong with the Display Port cable or Monitor because when its plugged in its causing my computer to not even boot or start, OR makes it continuously cycle over and over until the cords taken out.

I've spent weeks searching forums and Dell Tech but i have found nothing that describes what I'm experiencing or a solution.

I have also updated all my Firmware, Software, BIOS, Graphics Drivers, you name it - its updated to latest available.

1) I have tested other Display Cables - Retail and Non-Retail - No Fix

2) I have tested using HDMI Cables - Retail and Non-Retail - No Fix

3) Have tested GPU's using an older DVI and VGA Flat Screen - Works fine

4) My power settings are set to Max Performance and my BIOS has been set up disabling any power saving features. I have no concerns with the BIOS.

5) Have tested using the GPU DisplayPort slots, and HDMI slots on BOTH GTX680's as well as the Motherboard DisplayPort slot and HDMI slot - Same problems.

6) The monitor is on its own individual power wall outlet.

I am seriously at a loss, this is crazy that a screen is causing such problems.

Any help or Assistance would be great!
