I am interested in purchasing the U2414H Monitor & have a few questions. I am sorry to say, but the Dell Support team in India is just not able to answer my queries. Really hope you would be able to solve them. My queries are :
1) I have the following 3 ports at the back of my CPU : a regular HDMI, DVI & VGA port. Can I use the HDMI Port to connect this monitor & will I get the full 1920x1080 @60Hz resolution on display? (I have Windows 8.1 as my OS & an OnBoard Intel HD Graphics 2500 Card & it does list 1920x1080 (32bit) @60Hz list mode option)
2) Which particular HDMI Cable do I need to buy for connecting the monitor ? Will a regular HDMI-to-HDMI Cable so ? Please do help me with any specifications for the HDMI-to-HDMI Cable.
3) The Monitor has USB 3.0 ports at the back panel. Are there any USB ports on the side panel, as the pictures do not clearly indicate.
4) Is there any problem of the icons at the edge of the desktop screen getting stretched on using HDMI Display connectivity Option.
Hope to hear from you soon & help me choose my monitor.
Thanks,
Prashant.
