Ive got 2 dell 20"Inch Monitors side-by-side & today the machine goes in to power save mode as it has done for over 3 or 4 years now, except this time when i woke it up, the main screen DISPLAY 1 didn't come back on.
Ive done all the obvious,i.e swopped the cables unplugged it etc , if you switch it off with the power button & then back on again i get a picture back on for 3 seconds then it goes off again, the lights stay green all the time.
in fact if i leave it for a while it will sleep again & lights will go orange, when i move the mouse it switches back on lights go green, then again 3 seconds & right back off again.
any ideas...........
i'm thinking internal board component has gone, don't know which one yet, any ideas on that would be good as well .
