I have two computers connected to the Dell U2713H monitor. One is a recently new technology Pc connected thru HDMI port and the other one is a Mac Book Pro 17' mid 2010 thru mini display port (with Display port 1.2 disabled). Both of them works just lovely..... Recently i made an another Pc with socket 775 to continue working with Windows Xp and some old programs and games that is not combatible with new hardware technology and Windows 8.1 offers, and i have connect it with the on board DVI cable that monitor offers. I getting the problem entering in power save mode continuously after a few seconds. I have try different sources like HDMI, Display port to Mini Display port and i getting the same problem to all sources. I have try the 10 secs power down trick that i read, trying to connect with different cables but the problem remains. The weird is that the other PC works just fine with all sources and with different cables and mac book pro also works just fine with the mini display port. I cannot understand what is happening. Where the problem is. if it Is GPU problem or PCI express motherboard problem. But i don't think so.... all the components is new, connected right and they seem to be working ok. The only thing that i doesn't try is to connect the 775 socket pc to an other monitor to see what will happent. Is it possible to be compatibility issue with the monitors?
